Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. "Concerto in B Goode" was Chuck Berry's final record for Mercury, released in the summer of 1969. This album successfully blends blues, rock 'n' roll, and psychedelia. Produced by Berry himself, the title track, a reference to his iconic song "Johnny B. Goode," features an extraordinary 18-minute performance where Berry showcases his mastery of various guitar licks. He is backed by Billy Peek on organ, Kermit Eugene Cooley on bass, and Dale Gischer on drums.
