Drawing inspiration from Perez Prado's bold, almost avant-garde interpretation of the mambo and emphasizing the Lucumí undertones of Cuban rhythms and styles, the ensemble delves into the island's diverse rhythmic spectrum, challenging traditional notions of "mambo."
