A Brief Moment In The Sun

Soulside, originating from Washington, DC in 1985, disbanded in 1989 only to reunite in 2014, continuing their musical journey ever since. Their discography includes the debut album on Sammich/Dischord, along with Trigger (Dischord, 1988) and Hot Bodi-Gram (Dischord, 1989), later compiled on the Soon Come Happy CD in 1990. The band extensively toured the US and Europe, with notable performances in Poland and East Berlin just before the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. In 2020, Soulside released a new 7-inch, This Ship, marking their first release in three decades, recorded in Prague. Anticipated in late 2022, Dischord will unveil a 12-song Soulside album, A Brief Moment in the Sun, crafted amidst the coronavirus pandemic and recorded in person by J. Robbins in November 2021.
