Originally remixed and updated from the original 1987 master tapes for 'The Later Years' (2019) by Andy Jackson with David Gilmour. Now available as a standalone release with the 2019 remix. The release of 'The Later Years' project in 2019 provided an opportunity for a fresh overview of the 'A Momentary Lapse Of Reason' album, initially released in 1987. By revisiting some of Richard Wright's original keyboard takes and re-recording new drum tracks with Nick Mason, producers David Gilmour and Bob Ezrin have restored a better creative balance among the three Pink Floyd members.

This record is a 2-LP vinyl edition of Pink Floyd's "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason," remixed and updated in 2019 from the original master tapes. The gatefold sleeve includes a 24-page booklet with lyrics, credits, and photos. The front cover showcases an alternative photograph from the original album cover photoshoot. The heavyweight 180 gram pressing is a half-speed master cut at 45 rpm for enhanced audio quality. The record was recorded digitally, with exceptions for acoustic drums and bass guitar, which were recorded on analogue. Dolby SR noise reduction was used for mixing. New drum tracks were recorded with Nick Mason, and some of Richard Wright's original keyboard parts were revisited. All tracks are published by Pink Floyd Music Publishers Ltd., administered by Concord Copyrights Limited.
