A Night The Little Los Angeles (Sundowner 4-Track Demos)

Friends, I am thrilled to introduce "A Night At The Little Los Angeles" - the 4-track version of Sundowner. This record was recorded at home and in my back shed, lovingly referred to as The Little Los Angeles, in suburban Kansas during the summer and winter seasons of 2017 and 2018. It captures the essence of me alone in a room with a four-track, capturing my songs as they flowed naturally. When I later entered a proper studio to work on Sundowner, my aim was to preserve the raw essence of these initial recordings, which you can now experience firsthand. In many ways, this record feels like a complete album to me, as it represents my initial endeavor to encapsulate the Kansas sunset in musical form, whereas Sundowner was a refinement of that attempt. I hold both projects dear to my heart, but I am particularly excited to share this vulnerable aspect of my songwriting process with the public for the first time. Some of my favorite recordings have been created within an artist's home, free from external influences, allowing them to delve deep into their creative world in real-time. With that in mind, I warmly invite you to step into my world and experience "A Night At The Little Los Angeles."
