'A Seat At The Table' is the third album by Solange, featuring collaborations with artists such as Q-Tip, Kelly Rowland, The Dream, BJ The Chicago Kid, Kelela, Tweet, Moses Sumney, Sean Nicholas Savage, Nia Andrews, Devonté Hynes, Kelsey Lu, and John Carroll Kirby. Following her second studio album, 'Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams' (2008), Solange embarked on creating this musical masterpiece. The album's creation was marked by intense pressure and burnout as she poured her heart and soul into it. Writing for the album commenced in 2008, with recording sessions spanning from 2013 to June 2016. The result is a collection of emotionally rich and cathartic tracks, including the GRAMMY-winning "Cranes In The Sky" and "Don't Touch My Hair" featuring Sampha. These songs encapsulate profoundly complex narratives delivered with velvety softness. This double vinyl LP pressing includes a digital download.
