All Across This Land

Acclaimed Portland, OR quintet Blitzen Trapper has established a solid reputation as a band unafraid to take musical risks. Drawing from a wide range of influences, they have produced albums that blend indie folk/rock, roots, art rock, alt country, psychedelia, and pop, all while maintaining a sound that is uniquely their own. Following the somewhat experimental VII in 2013, which featured a futuristic hip-hop/country-rock fusion, their 2015 release, All Across This Land, presents a more classic rock and roll sound. This album is characterized by big riffs, catchy hooks, and compelling, instantly relatable lyrics. In both sound and scope, it harkens back to two of the band's most beloved albums: 2008's breakthrough Furr and 2011's landmark American Goldwing. Frontman Eric Earley described it as a return to the more 'classic' Blitzen Trapper style.
