Pink Floyd's concept album Animals from 1977 has been re-issued with a 2018 Remix by James Guthrie. This re-issue is available on CD, LP, Blu-ray, and a Deluxe set (LP + CD + Blu-ray + DVD). The iconic artwork has been redesigned by Aubery 'Po' Powell for this new release. Additionally, the album is presented in a 5.1 Surround Sound Mix for the first time, which is available in the deluxe edition and separately on a Blu-ray Audio Disc. The Deluxe Edition comes with a 32-page booklet containing rare behind-the-scenes photos from the original artwork photo session, live photos, and memorabilia. Today, Animals is regarded as one of Pink Floyd's finest albums, although it has often been overshadowed by The Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall.
