Aquatic Flowers, the fourth full-length album from acclaimed Nashville songwriter Tristen, is filled with insightful pop-folk tracks reflecting on our attempts to maintain control in a tumultuous world, the influence of our past, and the importance of letting go to foster personal growth. Recorded and produced by Tristen and her husband Buddy Hughen in their home studio Tight Squeeze, the album captures a raw and intimate essence. Tristen aimed to keep the recording process simple, staying true to the initial inspiration found in her demos. This approach allowed her to preserve the authenticity and immediacy of the songs, capturing the essence of the moment when the music was freshly created and deeply felt.
