With "Ask," the Amsterdam-based sextet Altin Gün presents an exuberant return to the '70s Anatolian folk-rock sound that defined their initial two albums, "On" (2018) and "Gece" (2019). This album showcases the band's closest attempt yet at capturing the vibrant energy of their live shows. Bassist Jasper Verhulst describes the recording process as a traditional approach to creating a rock album, reminiscent of the '70s, utilizing vintage recording equipment to infuse the set with a warm and inviting sound.
