Joni Mitchell made a surprise appearance at the Newport Folk Festival last summer, marking her first performance in 20 years. She delivered a heartfelt set featuring some of her greatest songs. Mitchell's triumphant return to the stage on July 24, 2022, will be captured on a new live album from Rhino, titled "AT NEWPORT." Produced by her close collaborator Brandi Carlile, the album will be available on July 28, 2023, on CD and 2-LP black vinyl. The music will also be released on the same day on digital and streaming services, as well as in Dolby Atmos format.
