The Smashing Pumpkins were never a band to think small. Their new album project Atum is a testament to their relentlessly ambitious approach. Announced as a sequel to their 1995 masterpiece Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and the album Machina / The Machines Of God, Atum is a huge rock opera of 33 songs divided into three acts, released every 11 weeks starting on 15 November 2022 and ending on 21 April 2023. When the final act is released, the entire project will also be available on physical formats.
