Carbon Glacier

Limited Release; Black and Clear Vinyl Carbon Glacier was originally released on CD in 2004 and later on vinyl in 2007. It has been out of print since 2010. Widely regarded as a groundbreaking album in the Laura Veirs canon, "Carbon Glacier" evokes the Pacific Northwest through climactic imagery, as noted by Uncut. Pitchfork describes the album as "cold, beautiful, and engaging," translating the vastness of nature into the modern city-sprawl, with one voice singing in solitude.
