Creation

Vinyl LP pressing. Reissue, originally released in 1975. During the late 1960s, the Japanese band Blues Creation was formed from the ashes of an earlier group, the Bickles. Starting as a covers act and then transitioning to original material, they underwent several lineup changes before disbanding, only to reemerge as Creation in 1973. They toured the US with heavyweights Mountain. The self-titled Creation LP from 1975 featured guitarist Kazuo Takeda and drummer Masayuki Higuchi from the former incarnation. This album captures the band at their freshest, showcasing Takeda's excellent guitar work taking the lead, often with heavy doses of fuzz - considered the best Creation album by far.
