Dangerous is the eighth studio album by Michael Jackson, released on November 26, 1991, by Epic Records. It marked Jackson's first album under his new contract with Sony Music and was the first not to be produced by Quincy Jones since 1975's Forever, Michael. The album has sold over 35 million copies worldwide, with 7 million albums shipped in the United States alone, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time. Dangerous produced four Top Ten singles on the Billboard Hot 100, including a number-one hit. The music on the album combines elements of R&B, pop, and rock, with the addition of new jack swing, introduced by producer Teddy Riley to appeal to a younger urban audience. Jackson contributed to the writing of all but two tracks on the album. Dangerous received multiple Grammy nominations and won one for Best Engineered Album. Alongside its commercial success, the album was well-received by contemporary critics. This is a double vinyl LP pressing.
