In 1998, New West Records was in its infancy when they had the opportunity to collaborate with Shaver, a duo comprising Billy Joe Shaver and his son, Eddy Shaver. The duo, known for their unique blend of outlaw country and rock, released 6 highly acclaimed albums. "Electric Shaver," released in 1999, marked a departure from Billy Joe's acoustic roots as they embraced electric instruments, infusing blues and rock elements into their music. To commemorate 25 years of their remarkable catalog, New West Records proudly presents the first-ever vinyl release of "Electric Shaver." This exclusive pressing features a one-time color variant and each record is housed in a colored foil paper sleeve with foil-stamped sequential numbering from 0001 to 2000.
