Geoffrey O'Connor, the former frontman of the euphoric guitar pop band Crayon Fields, makes a comeback with his latest solo album after seven years. Titled "For As Long As I Can Remember," this album is a collection of duets featuring some of Australia's most renowned modern singers such as Jonnine (HTRK), Sarah Mary Chadwick, Laura Jean, Sui Zhen, and more. The album delves into late-night tales of unfulfilled desires within a synth-pop realm where obsessions slowly fade into the past, exerting a destabilizing pull. Rather than offering easy love or comfort, Geoffrey's duet partners challenge him, subtly critique him, or reflect on a history of faded passions. Notable guest appearances on the album include Nicole Thibault of Chapter artists Thibault, Jess Ribeiro, June Jones, Steph Crase from Summer Flake, Sienna Thornton (Cyanide Thornton), and Caitlyn Lesiuk from Mystery Guest. Additionally, Sydney funk musician Donny Benet contributes bass to two tracks.
