Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. "For Django," recorded for Pacific Jazz in 1964, has long been considered a classic by jazz guitarist Joe Pass. He pays tribute to Django Reinhardt without attempting to emulate him in any way. Instead, Pass honors him by incorporating his own unique style alongside fellow guitarist John Pisano, bassist Jim Hughart, and drummer Colin Bailey. Standout tracks include "Rosetta," "Nuages," and "Fleur D' Ennui." Part of the Blue Note Tone Poet Series, this release features all-analog, remastered sound.
