Over 40 years have passed since Canadian prog-rock band Saga released their breakout self-titled debut album in 1978. Their typical trademarks - synthesizer harmonies, breathtaking guitar riffs, complex keyboard arrangements, and the charismatic vocals of frontman Michael Sadler - have helped Saga sell over eight million records worldwide, solidifying their position as an influential prog-rock institution. In 2021, earMUSIC pays tribute to Saga's legacy with a series of remastered reissues of some of the group's essential material released from 1978 to 2007. Saga's 1995 concept album, Generation 13, is presented here on gatefold vinyl 2LP with enhanced artwork and extensive liner notes.

Other Information

First time on vinyl, this album has been specially mastered for vinyl. Please note that there is no information available regarding Track D7 (Bonus Track). It is worth mentioning that Steve Negus and Jim Gilmour were not part of the band during the recording in 1991. Instead, Graham Lear is on drums, and the song is written by Jim Crichton, Michael Sadler, and Ian Crichton.

Additionally, on the inner sleeve, it is indicated that Mary Newland provides backing vocals on track 24. This information is sourced from the CD release. However, the correct track number should be D5.
