As teenagers, the two brothers jammed night after night in the bungalow behind their family home on the outskirts of Melbourne, delving into the R&B songbook and mastering the blues trade. Through their dedication, the pair honed their skills and began crafting original songs effortlessly. The Teskey Brothers' debut album, "Half Mile Harvest," was self-produced at their home studio in Warrandyte. The record encapsulates the essence of old-school soul that the quartet has cherished and cultivated over years of musical camaraderie. The tracks are exquisitely composed, highlighting their musical prowess and brimming with soulful, melodious hooks that resonate as naturally and vibrantly as the classics from the Stax-era in Memphis.
