In 2020, Brooklyn's Holy Hive introduced a unique blend of Folk Soul to the music scene. Homer Steinweiss' rhythmic drumming, combined with Paul Spring's ethereal falsetto vocals, creates a soothing sound that resonates deeply. Drawing from folk and soul traditions, Holy Hive's music not only showcases their musical expertise but also their ability to infuse past influences with a contemporary twist. Homer, known for his work with artists like Lady Gaga, Adele, and Bruno Mars, also produced Paul's solo folk records. Together with bassist Joe Harrison, Holy Hive's foundation was laid. Their debut album, "Float Back to You," seamlessly merges Paul's introspective folk style with Homer's classic soul sound. Now, with their latest self-titled album released on Big Crown, Holy Hive presents a more personal and reflective take on their signature Folk Soul sound.
