Released 2012, US

Patti Smith's "Horses" is her debut studio album, originally released on December 13, 1975, on Arista Records. Smith, a prominent figure in the emerging New York punk rock music scene, collaborated with her band in 1975 to record the album after signing with Arista Records. Renowned musician John Cale was brought in to produce the album. "Horses" garnered widespread critical acclaim for its blend of simplistic rock and roll structures with Smith's freeform, Beat poetry-infused lyrics. Despite a lack of airplay or a hit single, the album achieved modest commercial success, reaching the top 50 on the US Billboard 200 chart. Over time, "Horses" has been recognized as one of the most significant and influential albums in American punk rock history and is often hailed as one of the greatest albums of all time. It has served as a major inspiration for numerous punk, post-punk, and alternative rock artists, including Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Smiths, R.E.M., PJ Harvey, and Maggie Estep. This version is the original album pressed on 120 gram vinyl.
