In 2018, Connan Mockasin proposed using his yearly artist residency at Mexican Summer’s Marfa Myths festival to create the album that had been brewing in his father, Ade, for over 40 years. Teaming up with John Carroll Kirby, infinite bisous, Nicholas Harsant, and Matthew Eccles, with production by Liam Finn, "It's Just Wind" is a project both lifelong and spontaneous. This first-time vinyl pressing of 3,000 on black vinyl is exclusively available for Record Store Day 2022.
The download card features four exclusive songs from the master tapes of Ade's 1970 band, Autumn Stone. These tracks are unique to this release and will not be digitally available elsewhere, except through the download card included in this LP.
