Last Night On Earth

Noah & The Whale were prominent figures in the indie-folk scene of the early 21st Century. The band, led by vocalist and guitarist Charlie Fink, originated in Twickenham and initially included Laura Marling before she pursued her solo career. Their album "Last Night On Earth" features the Top 10 single "L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N." and was partly recorded in LA with producer Jason Lader. Released in 2011, Fink aimed to capture the essence of youth and nighttime excitement, drawing inspiration from Bruce Springsteen. Tracks like "Wild Thing" blend Springsteen and Lou Reed influences to create a unique sound that The Telegraph described as "Heartfelt, spirited, lyrical, moody, and mostly magnificent pop rock." This re-issue faithfully reproduces the original 2011 Mercury Records UK release, pressed onto high-quality 180gm vinyl. The album also includes a bonus 7" single with demo versions of "Tonight's The Kind Of Night" and "Wild Thing."
