Released 2008, US

Peter Tosh, a founding member of Jamaican reggae legends the Wailers alongside Bob Marley, brought a rough-and-tumble sound and image to the early incarnation of the group. Influenced by Ska and the "Rude Boy" lifestyle, Tosh added an edge to their music. In the mid-70s, he parted ways with the Wailers to pursue a solo career, releasing the pro-marijuana album "Legalize It." Tragically, in 1987, Tosh was fatally shot during an incident at his home in Kingston, marking the end of the life of a reggae innovator.
