Over a decade in the making, the new collection "Light in the Attic & Friends" showcases a stellar lineup of legendary artists interpreting songs that Light in the Attic Records has reintroduced over the past two decades. Highlights include Charles Bradley & The Menahan Street Band's rendition of Detroit singer-songwriter Sixto Rodriguez, Iggy Pop & Zig Zags' cover of funk queen Betty Davis, Ethan & Maya Hawke's tribute to country icon Willie Nelson, Angel Olsen's take on folk singer Karen Dalton, Roedelius' homage to Mali guitar gods Tinariwne, Mac DeMarco's interpretation of Japanese master Haruomi Hosono, and Swamp Dogg, John C. Reilly, Jenny Lewis & Tim Heidecker honoring close harmony duo The Louvin Brothers.

This double LP is pressed on special limited edition color wax and features new cover art by renowned British artist Sophy Hollington. Additionally, the record includes an 8-page booklet with liner notes by Lydia Hyslop.
