Released 2014, US

Filmed and recorded at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, LIVE AT MONTEREY presents Jimi Hendrix's legendary performance that catapulted him to international stardom. Backed by the Experience - bassist Noel Redding and drummer Mitch Mitchell, Hendrix delivers electrifying renditions of classics like "Killing Floor," "Hey Joe," "Foxey Lady," and "Purple Haze." Culminating in a fiery guitar finale that symbolized the start of his iconic career, this concert remains a pivotal moment in rock history. While BAND OF GYPSYS may offer a different perspective, LIVE AT MONTEREY is an essential audio snapshot capturing Hendrix at his best. This LP features 180-gram vinyl.
