Live In Brooklyn 2011

On August 12, 2011, Sonic Youth performed their final US show on an outdoor stage overlooking the East River at the Williamsburg Waterfront in Brooklyn. It was a fitting conclusion to their storied career, which began 30 years prior in New York City. The band delivered a powerful 17-song set, ranging from deep cuts off their first studio album to tracks from their final album, showcasing a band with everything to prove as the sun set over the city. Following this performance, Sonic Youth fulfilled a festival run in South America a few months later. However, the group's dynamic had irreparably shifted, and the subsequent festival appearances lacked the same impact. Now, newly remixed and remastered, "Live in Brooklyn 2011" is available for the first time on vinyl and CD. Please note that the color of this vinyl edition is uncertain, but it is expected to be a variation of pink and blue vinyl.
