Love Will Be Reborn

Love Will Be Reborn is songwriter Martha Wainwright's latest album, following 2016's Goodnight City. This album marks her return to original material, with all eleven songs written by Martha herself. The title track, written during a dark period in her life, reflects on recent struggles while embracing hope for the future. Martha's distinctive vocals beautifully convey the emotions of heartbreak throughout the album. Recorded in her hometown of Montreal, the album was crafted in the basement of café Ursa, doubling as a studio, and at PM Studios. Alongside Martha on guitar and piano are Toronto musicians Thom Gill (guitars, keys, back-ups), Phil Melanson (drums, percussion), and Josh Cole (bass). Pierre Marchand contributes keyboards on "Love Will Be Reborn" and two other tracks, while Morgan Moore features on bass for several songs.
