Limited 'fire orange with black streaks' colored vinyl LP pressing. Another rare soul-funk gem from the Maple label, part of Sylvia Robinson's All Platinum empire, known for its '70s R&B. Producer Johnny Brantley, a creative force at the imprint, has worked with artists like Lee Moses, Ohio Players, Lou Donaldson, and even Jimi Hendrix. In this 1971 one-off, led by drummer/singer/arranger Brad "Mabu" Young, expect funky surprises, including a horn section playing "Sparks" from The Who's Tommy during "Do the Best You Can!" M-Square is highly sought after and sells for hundreds of dollars. This first-ever LP reissue has been remastered for vinyl by Mike Milchner at Sonic Vision.
