This LP is pressed on golfball-white vinyl and comes in a standard sleeve with a reproduction inner sleeve. It is a limited edition release of 4,000 copies as part of Rhino Records' annual "Rocktober" reissue campaign, exclusively available at select brick & mortar retail outlets.

The album was recorded at Conny's Studio in Köln, Germany, with the exception of "Shrivel Up" and "Come Back Johnee," which were recorded at Different Fur Studios in San Francisco, CA, with Patrick Gleeson.

The sleeve bears copyrights ℗ & © 1978 Warner Records Inc. The inner sleeve credits all songs © 1977 DEVO MUSIC/Virgin Music Ltd., except for "Space Junk," "Too Much Paranoias," "Gut Feeling," and "Shrivel Up," which are © 1978 DEVO MUSIC/Virgin Music Ltd. All songs are published by Devo Music/Nymph Music, Inc. BMI, except for A2, which is published by ABKO Music Inc. BMI.

The inner sleeve features stills from "The Truth About DE-EVOLUTION," a film by Chuck Statler, with words & music by DEVO. Additionally, there is a production photo by Bobbi Watson from the movie "Satisfaction," filmed and produced by Chuck Statler and directed by DEVO INC.
