Double 180gm vinyl LP pressing. The Waterboys' 1990 album 'Room to Roam' marked the band's fifth release. Following the Folk-Rock style of their 1988 album 'Fisherman's Blues', 'Room to Roam' was recorded at Spiddal House in Galway, the same location as the last recording sessions for the previous album. This album would be the band's final venture into Folk-Rock until the release of 'Universal Hall' in 2003. Fiddler Steve Wickham, a significant influence on the shift in sound for 'Fisherman's Blues', departed from the band shortly before the release of 'Room to Roam'. This new vinyl edition is designed to complement The Magnificent Seven CD/DVD/Book box set. Mastered for Half-speed and cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road, this double album plays at 45rpm. The reissue features the original artwork presented in a new 5mm wide spine sleeve, polyline inners, and insert.
