To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Rory Gallagher's eponymous debut solo album from 1971, a deluxe box set of the album is presented. It includes a new mix of the original album, thirty previously unheard out/alternate takes, a six-song 1971 BBC Radio John Peel Sunday Concert, and four BBC radio session tracks. Additionally, a 40-minute DVD of Rory's first solo concert, filmed in Paris, France for the 'Pop Deux' TV show, is included. The package features a 32-page hardback book with unseen images, essays, and memorabilia from the album recording, along with a poster. Please note that this 3LP version is a cut-down version from the deluxe box set.

The set includes a 2021 remix and remaster of the original album, along with 18 rare alternate, outtake recordings, and BBC radio sessions. The package also contains an 8-page booklet featuring essays, photography, and rare paraphernalia. Mastered at Abbey Road Studios, the 180g heavyweight vinyl ensures a high-quality listening experience. Additionally, the album includes a download code for digital access. The sleeve cover photography is credited to Hipgnosis, while the inner sleeve and booklet photography are by © Barrie Wentzell. This edition also features additional runout information on variant 2, with specific details for each side. Hipgnosis designed the album, as referenced in the "Vinyl-Album-Cover-Art" book by Aubrey Powell.
