Adult Swim and RVNG Intl.’s Salutations introduces a series of encounters, gatherings, communal activities, and interactions within the intangible realm of correspondence. The fundamental question of our similarities emerges through the act of connection and how we opt to embrace the possibilities of that moment and each other. Through correspondence, we establish links, exchange thoughts, and cultivate a sense of community. Initially communicating with one another, we progress to correspond with parallel and intersecting collective essences through collaborative processes and transmissions. This enduring network, undoubtedly influenced (whether consciously or subconsciously) by celestial or spiritual energies, serves as a gateway to practicing social responsibility and as an entry point to a broader, all-encompassing universe of knowledge. Consequently, the network evolves into a human phenomenon, showcasing the power of art and collective action. As the world undergoes healing and transformation in the face of future shifts, this network stands as a conduit to transcend and expand beyond our physical existence. Salutations showcases twelve new musical compositions from artists closely connected to RVNG’s sphere, such as Isik Kural, Satomimagae, vhvl, Visible Cloaks, Sign Libra, Dialect, Batu, Anna Homler, Diatom Deli, Emily A. Sprague, Rachika Nayar, Nina Keith, and Wayne Phoenix. Initially unveiled by Adult Swim on Wednesday, September 15, with a wider release the next day, this RSD 2022 release marks its debut pressing on vinyl.
