The 2007 studio album was entirely improvised by Dream Theater's Mike Portnoy and Jordan Rudess, along with King Crimson bassist Tony Levin. Originally intended as the third album from Liquid Tension Experiment, which also featured Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci. However, due to unforeseen circumstances when Petrucci's wife went into labor, the remaining members continued and produced this adventurous album. Now, for the first time ever, this album is available on vinyl, presented in a stunning silver color.

The songs were taken from Mike Portnoy's live 2-track stereo DAT mixes, with no overdubs, mixing, or editing involved.

Recorded at Millbrook Sound Studios in Millbrook, New York, in October 1998.
