US LP pressing. First Aid Kit's Columbia Records debut album, "Stay Gold," showcases the talents of Swedish duo sisters Klara and Johanna Soderberg. The album features 10 original songs where the sisters' lush arrangements and vivid storytelling shine. Recorded at ARC studios in Omaha and produced by Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, Monsters of Folk), the duo collaborated with the Omaha Symphony Orchestra, with arrangements by Nate Walcott (Bright Eyes, Broken Bells, Rilo Kiley). Exploring new directions and dynamics in their arrangements, First Aid Kit stayed true to the essence of each song. Hailing from a southern suburb of Stockholm, Klara and Johanna started writing songs in 2007 as teenagers. Their track "Emmylou" from "The Lion's Roar" was named Rolling Stone's Single of the Year in 2012. The duo has graced the stages of Late Show with David Letterman and Conan, and have shared the spotlight with artists like Jack White, Lykke Li, and Bright Eyes.
