Way back in 2001, we witnessed monkey mayhem unfurl through a topsy-turvy gameplay mechanic that probably sounded quite wacky on paper. Super Monkey Ball was bizarre and delightful then, and now, 20 years later, we find ourselves writing about it in a product description. Despite the love for the characters and the world, the unsung gem of this series is its music, which shines in this incarnation, titled Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. It's an evolution of the catchy tunes from the original version, presented here as danceable, trance-like, lovely, and chill tracks that are incredibly enjoyable to absorb on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Some of these tunes are so bouncy and delectable that they wouldn't be out of place at an Electric Daisy Carnival set. iam8bit is thrilled to present this collection in collaboration with SEGA Music, paying homage to Andy Warhol's iconic Velvet Underground album design, and given a cheeky touch by the talented artists, Little Friends of Printmaking. And yes, the banana is a static cling that can actually be peeled off the album! How cool is that?
