Swimmer

Tennis is an indie pop duo consisting of husband and wife Patrick Riley (guitar, keyboards, production) and Alaina Moore (vocals, keyboards). The band crafted their latest album while traveling on land and sea; from their sailboat journey around Baja California, Mexico, to their recording studio in Denver. Motivated to enhance their songwriting, Alaina and Patrick delved into experimenting with various instruments, time signatures, and a stronger focus on storytelling through lyrics. The duo drew inspiration from significant life events of the past two years, including moments of loss, illness, and strengthened connections. Self-producing the album, Tennis collaborated with Claudius Mittendorfer for mixing (known for his work with Ra Ra Riot and Parquet Courts). Additionally, the band has partnered with renowned brands such as Gucci, Madewell, and Vinyl Me, Please. Tennis has shared the stage with notable acts like Spoon, The Shins, Father John Misty, and recently supported Mumford & Sons in Denver.
