The album includes the hit single "We Found Love," featuring Calvin Harris, which became her 11th #1 Billboard Hot 100 entry. The song topped the charts in 26 additional countries and won the Grammy for Best Music Video, marking Rihanna's sixth such honor. Rihanna, a Barbadian singer, songwriter, and actress, was born in Saint Michael and raised in Bridgetown. She began her music career in 2003 by recording demo tapes under the guidance of record producer Evan Rogers. After auditioning for the then-president of Def Jam Recordings, Jay Z, she signed a recording contract with the label.
