The Gold Experience - The Gold Experience, released in 1995, was the first full-length Prince album to be credited to his unpronounceable symbol and was released during a highly publicized stage of his battle with the major label industrial complex. With the word "SLAVE" written on one cheek, Prince showcased his talent on the opulent ballads "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" and "Gold," as well as the defiant single "[eye] Hate U." The album received widespread critical acclaim. This edition is available as a black vinyl double LP.

Prince's classic 1995 album, his first as [Love Symbol], is described as "A triumph of affirmative pop" by The Guardian. The album features hits such as "the most beautiful girl in the world," "gold," and "[eye] hate u."

Issued with printed inner sleeves, the title on the insert, labels, and spine is listed as "the gold experience."

The stylized "👁" eye symbol represents "Eye" as mentioned on the sticker, in the track titles, and liner notes.
