Vinyl LP pressing including digital download. "The Graduate" is an album featuring songs from the soundtrack of Mike Nichols' iconic movie, showcasing the folk-rock duo Simon & Garfunkel. Released on January 21, 1968, this album was produced by Teo Macero. Notably, the album includes two versions of the renowned "Mrs. Robinson"; however, neither is the full version found on Bookends. The first is an instrumental rendition, while the second is an abbreviated version, mirroring its fade-out in the film. Another standout track, "The Sound of Silence," is featured three times in the movie. Simon & Garfunkel, comprised of singer-songwriter Paul Simon and singer Art Garfunkel, were influential figures in the 1960s music scene, achieving great commercial success and earning a place as counterculture icons alongside artists like the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and Bob Dylan.
