Collection of unreleased demos written for the ninth PJ Harvey studio album, "The Hope Six Demolition Project." Originally recorded in London and Dorset in 2012, this collection includes demos of 'The Wheel' and 'The Community Of Hope'. The album features brand new artwork with cover art based on a drawing by Polly Jean Harvey, along with previously unseen photos by Maria Mochnacz and Seamus Murphy. The artwork is overseen by Michelle Henning with Rob Crane, and mastering is done by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering, under the guidance of long-time PJ Harvey producer John Parish. This is a 1LP, 180g black vinyl release, and the artwork includes previously unseen drawings and photos.

Some copies of this record come with a sticker on the shrink wrap featuring original demo recordings of every track from the album "The Hope Six Demolition Project," including "The Wheel" and "The Community Of Hope." These recordings are previously unreleased and the record includes a download card with the album. Additionally, some copies include a custom printed inner sleeve.

This release is under Island Records and ℗2021 PJ Harvey under exclusive license to Universal Music Operations Ltd. ©2021 PJ Harvey under exclusive license to Universal Music Operations Ltd., a Universal Music Company. The record was made in Germany and the original demo recordings were performed, recorded, and produced in London and Dorset in 2012.

All songs are published by Hot Head Music Limited (ASCAP) administered by Kobalt Songs Music Publishing (ASCAP), except for "The Ministry Of Social Affairs," which contains portions of the composition entitled "That's What they Want" published by Embassy Music Corporation (BMI) and used by permission. "The Ministry Of Social Affairs" also contains a sample of the recording "That's What they Want" performed by Jerry McCain, courtesy of Geffen Records, under license from Universal Music Enterprises, used by permission.

Some copies purchased directly from the artist may include an additional lyric insert for "The Ministry Of Social Affairs," signed by PJ Harvey.
