This ultimate collector's edition of The Joshua Tree marks a defining year for the band, as Time Magazine featured U2 on its cover in April 1987, hailing them as "Rock's Hottest Ticket." The band's arena dates transitioned into stadium shows to meet the surging demand, propelling them towards becoming one of the greatest live acts in the world today. Over the following 12 months, U2 achieved numerous iconic milestones, including the Grammy Award-winning music video filmed on the roof of a Los Angeles liquor store, receiving a BRIT Award and two Grammys - one for Album of the Year, the first of their 22 Grammy wins to date. This success solidified U2 as the most awarded rock band in Grammy history. The band also made a triumphant return home with the original Joshua Tree Tour, delivering four unforgettable shows in Belfast, Dublin, and Cork during the summer of 1987.
