The Rising Tide

Double vinyl LP pressing. "The Rising Tide" is the fourth and final studio album by American Seattle-based indie-rock band Sunny Day Real Estate, originally released in June 2000. Sunny Day Real Estate was one of the early Midwest emo bands and played a significant role in establishing the genre. Following the critical acclaim of their debut album "Diary" in 1994 on Sub Pop Records, the band faced internal challenges and eventually disbanded after the release of their second album, LP2. Members Nate Mendel and William Goldsmith went on to join Foo Fighters, while Jeremy Enigk pursued a solo career. The band briefly reunited in 1997 to record two more studio albums and a live album before disbanding once again in 2001.
