Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Lee Morgan's magnum opus comeback, "The Sidewinder," was a coronation. The prodigious trumpeter debuted on Blue Note in 1956 at the age of 18, but personal problems in the early '60s forced him off the scene temporarily. His rebound recording was an assured, energetic set of five indelible originals with Joe Henderson on tenor sax, Barry Harris on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass, and Billy Higgins on drums.
