Recorded in January and February 1959, "Lorraine" and "Turnaround" & "Endless" were captured during separate sessions. The tracks on Side 1 were recorded in one session on the night of March 9-10, 1959, at Contemporary's studio in Los Angeles. Notably, Red Mitchell plays bass on Side 2 of the album. This release is a product of Contemporary Records, Inc., with Craft Recordings handling the 2021 reissue. The album itself dates back to 1959 and was manufactured and distributed by Concord, with all production done in the U.S.A. Look out for etched runouts on this record.
