Vinyl LP pressing, "Whoosh!" sees Deep Purple collaborating with producer Bob Ezrin for the third time. The band was invited to Nashville to write and record new songs, resulting in their most versatile album yet. Deep Purple "stretched out in all directions" without limitations, allowing their creativity to flourish. The motto in the studio became "Deep Purple is putting the Deep back in Purple" as Ezrin and the band embarked on creating an album that pushes boundaries while addressing current world issues and appealing to all generations. Deep Purple has been exploring new musical territories in recent years, attracting fans across different age groups. Their iconic albums like "In Rock" (1970), "Machine Head" (1972), and "Made In Japan" (1973) propelled them to international success with hits like "Smoke On The Water."
