In February of that year, he performed in Tokyo to kick off a five-city tour, marking his first time playing in Japan and showcasing his global appeal. The initial shows took place at the Budokan, a renowned martial arts hall. The show on February 23rd was recorded and filmed for broadcast, initially released only in Japan on laser disc. This exclusive vinyl release, starting on RSD Black Friday at indie record stores, presents this historic performance for the first time in audio format.
